A dedicated EMS provider looking to advance my education and public health overall.
I started EMS Aware in late 2021 in order to help bridge the gap between the public, EMS providers, and the broader healthcare system overall. I believe that we can achieve better health outcomes and health systems overall with understanding and education.
In addition, EMS Aware has branched off to form Tourniquets Maryland. Tourniquets Maryland is intended to provide accessible Stop the Bleed resources and eventually actual bleeding control supplies to the public of Maryland. In time, we hope to expand to all states.
My current goals include gaining further competency in the 911 setting, getting critical care experience, and completing nursing school. My long term goals include employment as a flight paramedic and pursuing advanced education to help be a driver of progress in EMS.
